This Australian twist on a classic negroni uses macadamia liqueur in place of the sweet vermouth comes courtesy of Robert Mudge from Fleet restaurant. At Fleet they serve this garnished with a macadamia leaf.
30ml Brookies Mac liqueur
30ml Dry Gin
Peel of 1 orange, for squeezing, plus an orange twist to serve
1. Combine ingredients in a mixing glass with ice and stir until desired water. Pour into a glass of your choice, or an old-fashioned glass with large ice cubes. Express orange oil over the top and add orange twist to drink. If you have macadamia leaves on hand, also use as garnish.
