This Australian twist on a classic negroni uses macadamia liqueur in place of the sweet vermouth comes courtesy of Robert Mudge from Fleet restaurant. At Fleet they serve this garnished with a macadamia leaf.

30ml Brookies Mac liqueur

30ml Dry Gin

30ml Campari

Peel of 1 orange, for squeezing, plus an orange twist to serve

METHOD

1. Combine ingredients in a mixing glass with ice and stir until desired dilution is achieved. Pour into a glass of your choice, or an Old Fashioned glass with large ice cubes. Express orange oil over the top and add orange twist to drink. If you have macadamia leaves on hand, also use as garnish.
